eHemp is a Register of legal entities engaged in the sowing, cultivation, and processing of hemp for industrial purposes. The system provides access to the following modules:
- Module for registering business entities in the industrial hemp sector
- Land parcel registration and management module
- Sowing and harvesting module
- Laboratory research module
- Extracts and reporting module
- Interactive map
The Register ensures transparency and openness in the industrial hemp market, while also reducing potential corruption and abuse risks.
In addition, the system significantly simplifies the activities of industrial hemp producers. Previously, obtaining a license for industrial hemp production could take up to three months. Now, according to the Order of the Ministry of Agrarian Policy dated August 16, 2024, it is sufficient to register in the newly created register. The system facilitates easier registration of enterprises, land parcels, hemp sowing, and harvests. Less bureaucracy and paperwork – more convenience.
"The applications of industrial hemp are extremely broad – from light and food industries to pulp and paper. Hemp is a high-margin niche crop with significant processing potential,"– Vitalii Koval, Minister of Agrarian Policy and Food of Ukraine.
The system's launch marked a step toward restoring Ukraine’s leadership in industrial hemp cultivation.
